American Mining Insurance Company, which was acquired by W. R. Berkley Corporation in 2007, has for almost 20 years specialized in mining operations offering workers' compensation insurance as well as general liability, automobile and excess liability coverages to mining and mine-related operations. As it has grown and expanded geographically, American Mining Insurance Company has become the preferred provider of insurance coverages to many within the mining and aggregate industries.
