Formed in May 2007, Berkley Life Sciences offers an array of casualty products designed for medical device, pharmaceutical and biotechnology, dietary supplement, and contract research companies, as well as other industry segments related to the Life Sciences Industry. Our market knowledge and specialized expertise enable us to provide unique and valuable products, as well as access to the resources of the W. R. Berkley Corporation

Berkley Life Sciences offers commercial general liability, professional liability, and commercial excess through select retail and wholesale distribution channels on a non-admitted basis, with the expectation of expanding its offerings in the future. We provide primary and excess casualty insurance to the following specialized markets:
