Company Description

Berkley North Pacific Group, LL C was formed in August of 2009 as an operating unit within W. R. Berkley Corporation’s Regional segment. We underwrite products on behalf of W. R. Berkley Corporation and are based in Seattle, Washington. We also maintain a local presence in Boise, Idaho and serve independent insurance agents located throughout five states: Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Utah and Montana.

How Berkley North Pacific Is Different

The formation of Berkley North Pacific Group expands the presence of W.R. Berkley Corporation in the Northwest and represents an outstanding opportunity to serve the unique needs of businesses in the Pacific Northwest.

Our primary goal is to attract and retain profitable standard middle-market business by working closely with a select group of highly professional Pacific Northwest agents. We utilize the expertise of underwriting, risk management services and claims to partner with our agents, winning accounts through superior products and services designed to help their clients manage the cost of risk.

While our primary focus is middle-market standard business, we recognize that our partner agencies write a variety of products. To accommodate this variety, we also offer expert underwriting and risk management services for qualified Agribusiness, Transportation, Program and Construction business.

Agency relationships are the responsibility of Executive Field Underwriters. The Executive Field Underwriters serve as single points of contact for agencies making it easy to do business with Berkley North Pacific and the entire family of Berkley companies.
