Chandler F. Cox, Jr. began his insurance career in 1979 as a Facultative Reinsurance Underwriter. In 1989, he co-founded American Mining Insurance Company and has served as President & Chief Executive Officer since 2000. American Mining became a member company of W. R. Berkley Corporation in 2007.
