Berkley Surety Group, Inc., formerly known as Monitor Surety Managers, Inc., seeks to provide exceptional returns to shareholders by applying a superior risk selection process. We approach each transaction with a healthy respect for the risk inherent in the surety bond transaction and a long range focus on generating consistent results.

Company Description

Our Home Office in Florham Park, New Jersey and thirteen field offices are staffed to service the surety industry across the continental United States. Our primary focus has been performance and payment bonds for small to mid-sized construction contractors. We have recently added the expertise to support a broad spectrum of commercial surety transactions. Special emphasis is placed on providing a stable and responsive surety market for agencies doing insurance business with the W. R. Berkley Corporation regional units – Acadia Insurance Company, Berkley Mid-Atlantic Group, Continental Western Group and Union Standard Insurance Group.
