Berkley Surety Group, LLC
Our Mission
Berkley Surety Group, LLC is committed to building an enduring enterprise with an emphasis on perpetuating meaningful partnerships with our agents. We value an entrepreneurial approach to the business and strive to balance risk management considerations with a traditional underwriting process. We approach each transaction with a healthy respect for the risk inherent in the surety bond transaction but take care to explore every possible option that might generate a successful outcome for our agency partners who are the ultimate customer.
Company Description
We provide a broad array of surety products encompassing standard construction and commercial surety, targeting FOR TUNE 2000 companies. We also provide surety support for specialty niches such as environmental firms, secured credit for small contractors and transactional online commercial surety.
How Berkley Surety Group is Different
Berkley Surety Group possesses many superior attributes, including one of the best product arrays in the industry. Yet, our approach to the business is what distinguishes us because the underwriting process is not rooted in ratios. Our culture is one of shared responsibility and accountability for our collective success, driven by open communication with our agency partners. We rely on our people to examine the undertaking as a whole - the numbers, the management, people, history and performance relative to the complexity of the risk inherent in the transaction. Our people are supported with state-of-the-art technology that facilitates this collaborative approach and can produce a timely and meaningful response from a virtual office. We pride ourselves on providing the superior level of service required by our agents to ensure every account is fairly and thoroughly evaluated for the magnitude and nature of our surety commitment.
We are deeply committed to making a positive contribution to the surety industry and to the acceptance of its products. An important part of this commitment is prompt, professional and equitable claims service – this is an absolute priority and an integral component in the success of our facility and the fulfillment of our surety commitment.
Our people are second to none in the industry; our team brings a comprehensive level of experience and underwriting expertise coupled with the intellectual capacity and energy to effectively sell and service our products. Each is driven by the knowledge that long-term successful relationships require continuous attention, uncompromising honesty and plain hard work.
